Police arrest man for defaming king in palace compound

 
The police on Friday arrested a man for lèse majesté at a house in central Samut Prakan Province, ASTV-Manager Online reported. The police said the man defaming the king in the Dusit Palace compound.
 
Phuchit W., 55, was arrested at 2.30 pm in Mueang District. 
 
The police from the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) accused him of defaming the King, the Queen and the Heir Apparent on 1 September at the Amporn Satarn Mansion, in the Dusit Palace compound. 
 
The suspect denied all allegation, declined to testify to police, and will only testify before the court.
