The figure I gave is according to a friend who previously worked with British Sky; he estimated £1.7-1.8 million for 24 hr. What did Sonthi Lim say? Not sure if you can rely on the words of a man who doesn't report the revenue/income of his organisation. If I recall correctly he used to say it cost a million Baht/day to organise the protest, I think the real figure could be much higher. Still, mobilising "people" (transport, food, water, medical, concert, etc.) is much cheaper than the cost of media. When asked about the source of funding for their 'colour', both Sonthi and Thaksin suddenly became a like-minded thinker; they told reporters that 'the people' were the financial contributors of their group. The 'people' of Thailand can never paid as much as the "mysterious few".
