At least they believe in what they say, and they are passionate about it, and they one way or another earn trust of large sections of society who watch their programs.

On the other hand we have some politicos who set up media companies not to report or opine but to promote their assigned agenda.

Somehow these days "media freedom" means freedom to brainwash, with the argument being that people are better informed, they will know the difference.

I don't see that happening. We have two brainwashed groups instead that work as gravity centers for every one else.
