Hobby, my point was not the exact number, I wouldn't trust Ekkayuth myself, but the scale of potential profits. Would it really matter that if 5 bil but only 500 million was made from the rumor?

Everybody knows that King's death would be a major destabilizing event for the country, and the stock market would certainly plunge when that happens. So someone decided to test run how it would go.

I see people getting distracted by the content of the rumor and forget about the intent of the perpetrators. I'm pretty sure this is not the first time they tried to manipulate the stocks, except no one noticed until the word "King" got involved.

The main lesson the authorities should learn here is how to prevent SET from being easily manipulated by rumors, hopefully they find the way.
