My heart bleeds for this man

My heart bleeds for this man and his family. I don't know if it's true that only foreigners get pardoned -- and very quickly -- for lese majeste, albeit once convicted and not before a lengthy wait for a court appearance. It certainly seems that way. Makes a mockery of the whole idea of a pardon if this is the case, as the whole concept of a pardon is cynically used as a public relations stunt with foreigners as the tool.
