Hobby, Perhaps yr post is not insensitive. It's actually sensible but if u feel it could have been seen as insensitive by others, can't u soften yr tone a little? Just adding 'i hope my post is not insensitive' cannot help much to make people who already feel somewhat hurt by it, to feel better.
