The military has gone to a new level by intimidating a pro-democracy Buddhist monk at his temple.
On Thursday, 12 May 2016, Phraiwan Wannabut revealed on Facebook and to Prachatai that the military had visited him at his temple more than five times and will come again this Saturday.
Each time, the military take photos of the monk and plead with the monk to stop all political activities, including writing articles and Facebook posts, and also offer him lunch.

A high-school executive has scolded a grade 12 student activist who refused to take a Civic Duty class exam as being mentally ill while the Education Minister told the media not to pay much attention to her.
According to the 23 July 2015 issue of Matichon newspaper, an administrator of Triam Udom Suksa School in central Bangkok told the media that Nattanan Warintarawet, aka Nice, an outspoken anti-coup student activist at the school, is mentally ill.

The Thai junta leader has invoked his authority under the Interim Constitution to put on hold the process of selecting new members of a law reform agency, saying that the upcoming constitution is already meant to reform the country.
