The Reading Room ร่วมกับ Clip Kino จากฟินแลนด์ และเครือข่ายพลเมืองเน็ต จัดกิจกรรมฉายคลิป ทั้งวีดิโอและสารคดีขนาดสั้นที่เจอออนไลน์ โดยให้ผู้ร่วมงานพกคลิปมาฉายและพูดคุยกัน และเสวนาในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวกับ "คลิป" โดยเฉพาะประเด็นการแสดงความคิดเห็น การเข้าถึง และการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลทางสื่ออินเทอร์เน็ต สภาวะส่วนตัว/สาธารณะของสื่อเหล่านี้ การเซ็นเซอร์ (ทั้งจากรัฐและเซ็นเซอร์ตัวเอง) นอกจากนี้ยังเชิญบุคคลจากสาขาต่างๆ ที่ทำงานเกี่ยวข้องและมีความสนใจในประเด็นเหล่านี้มาจัดโปรแกรมคลิปตามความสนใจ โดยโปรแกรมหนึ่งยาวประมาณ 10-15 นาที โดยเน้นประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์ร่วมสมัยในสังคมไทย

19:00-20:00 ผู้เข้าร่วมงานนำคลิปของตนมาฉาย และพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกันเกี่ยวกับประเด็นในคลิปต่างๆ

 

(งานนี้เป็นงานคลิปคิโนะครั้งที่สองในเมืองไทย ครั้งแรกจัดไปเมื่อ 11 ธ.ค. ที่ผ่านมา ที่อาคารสื่อศิลปะและการออกแบบสื่อ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่)

 

 

 

The Reading Room, in collaboration with Clip Kino and Thai Netizen Network, present a self-organized screening event of short video clips & documentaries found online in which each participant brings video clips with them to share and discuss with one another. There is also a panel discussion on the topics related to online media: accessibility and distribution issue, the question of public/private nature of these media, censorship/self-censorship issue, etc. Moreover, the event includes screening of curated clip programs (10-15 mins each) by individuals working in various fields related to the above-mentioned issues, particularly those relevant to contemporary social and cultural context in Thailand.
